LACK OF PATIENCE

Have you ever experienced getting agitated while waiting for your friends and they made you wait for too long? Yes, you have, perhaps. You became annoyed, which made you leave the place without thinking for the friends you were waiting. This definitely spoiled the situation and may be the hangout plan with your friends affecting the relationships you have. This loosing of patience can be the reason of your bad temper.

What exactly is lack of patience?

When you don’t have the ability to wait and want to complete everything without delaying or when you feel restless until you reach your goal or its taking time to achieving what you want, all are considered under lack of patience.
It’s really normal to get angry. Yes, an average person gets angry 4 times a day. If you have a bad temper, you must have experience frustration and agitations many times. After all, we are humans, we have emotions, we do feel happy, we do cry, we experience excitement and we feel angry too. But, is it right to lose your temper in such a short notice when even you don’t realize that what have you done. Feeling regret after spoiling everything doesn’t make sense according to me.
Remember, we are not what we are, but what we choose to. You can become patient if you think you can. You can only decide how you can live your life. You decide to be patient and you are the one only who decides to be impatient. Be calm in the situations where you feel you are about to behave in that awful habit of yours. Again, I’ll repeat, don’t lose your loved ones with this habit. The habit leads to bad temper and which results in people hating you. Do you want that? Of course not! It’s not about losing or founding patience, it’s just a sentence which adds to your excuse, “Sorry, I just lose my patience!” or “I am impatient”. Stop being immature by avoiding situations with these repeated sentences. Being short of patience, you become short of temper too. And short temper will prove hazardous for you as you will not be able to do tasks properly.
Okay! Lots of talks about patience! I didn’t and will never mean that by being patience, you should sit idle and wait for the things to happen. I only meant, hold your responsibilities by not being restless, ultimately ruining the situations. I completely go along with you if you think that it’s easier said than done. But, trying is better than crying.

What to do?

Realize when you get irritated and lack patience. There is not such a concrete cause for when people lack patience. It differs from person to person. So, try to find what triggers your patience level.
Slow down! Don’t feel restless when you are waiting for a bus or train or when you are in a long queue. This won’t make a bus or train reach faster or this won’t settle a long queue and start moving the queue. Take deep breathes and divert your mind by listening songs or just talking to the people around you instead of being restless. This will help for sure.
Go with a calm mind, go with peace and experience the miracle!
Try doing things which make you feel this way. Again, the things which triggers you, may be the example which I’ve stated initially. Do it again and examine yourself.
